Learn the 3 secrets to optimizing your stifle lasering technique!
Thursday, September 7th at 4 pm PST, 6 pm CST and 7 pm EST
Laser therapy can be an incredibly effective technique, especially for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease. As you may know, this is one of the most common orthopedic concerns you will see in your clinic.
What if you could give your pet patients with CCL disease a better quality of life with laser therapy and help pet owners potentially avoid costly surgeries?
We can even treat them when they have inflammation, before they start to tear the CCL, as a prevention.
Iâm Dr. Laurie McCauley and Iâve been a veterinarian for 30 years, specialized in rehabilitation for 25 years, and teaching laser therapy for 20 years.
I constantly hear the same questions and feedback about laser therapy:
In the free, live webinar,
âOptimum Laser Techniques for
Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease,â
Learn how to potentially prevent cranial cruciate rupture. The webinar will cover the warning signs of cruciate rupture and how to use the laser to treat the most important structures.
Learn how to treat the support structures of the cranial cruciate ligament. Dr. Laurie will show you how to position the laser and the pet to promote healing and strengthening of critical structures, decreasing the chance of cruciate re-injury.
Learn where to find the hidden areas of the stifle that can be lasered for optimum results.

I've had a lifelong calling to help as many pets as possible live an Optimum Quality of Life. I'm delivering on that by making my decades of clinical expertise available to YOU. In 1998, after 6 years in general practice, I became a pioneer in the field of Veterinary Rehabilitation, designing the first underwater treadmill for dogs and opening the first Veterinary Rehabilitation Clinic. I wanted to offer my patients the best care possible. In doing so, I added acupuncture and chiropractic therapy to my toolbox of options.
Initially, I shared my knowledge as a lead instructor at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute where I taught veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and physical therapists everything I have learned from performing the best exams to opening their eyes to new treatment options. Many of these exams and treatments were techniques I developed through years of trial and error.
In 2014, I became Board Certified in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Currently, there are only 116 veterinarians around the world with this certification. My years of experience, teaching, learning, and training, gave me the knowledge to be part of this very small select group of veterinarians.
Over the years, I have been an international lecturer as well as a contributing author in many textbooks and journals. I was awarded the 2011 Iams AARV Award of Excellence in the Field of Rehabilitation and the 2015 AHVMA Holistic Practitioner of the Year Award. I continue to lecture nationally, act as a guest on various podcasts, continue to see patients through my mobile practice, Red Tail Rehab in North Carolina, and, most importantly, I continue to put my decades of knowledge into online lectures at Optimum Pet Vitality for YOU. All of this to continue to fulfill my lifelong calling to help as many pets as possible live an Optimum Quality of Life.
Empowering People, Optimizing Pets
"âWe offered the laser course to our entire team of nurses and doctors. Itâs made a huge difference in our comfort level about using laser therapy. Now our team feels very confident and they are seeing much better results from their treatments. Thank you Dr. McCauley for offering this course, it has made a huge difference in our use and success of laser therapy.â"
"âThe videos on hips are some of the best in an already excellent program. They put what passed as a training program when we bought our laser to shame. Thank you for putting this resource together. [The laser manufacturerâs] training program was about how to safely use the laser unit, which they did well.Your program showed us how to best treat our patients with the current laser information we have. Unfortunately, many of us forget that difference and assume we know how to optimally treat patients because we know how to operate the laser unit.â"
"âWe love this course [the Optimum Laser Therapy online course]! It was worth every penny. Dr. Laurie thought of everything. Everything! She provided us with all that we needed to create effective, condition-specific protocols; thoughtfully choose our next laser, and trained a laser technician who now provides a top-notch level of care to our clients. We understand the âhows and whysâ which allow us to fine-tune our treatment plans and get the best results possible. We were even able to standardize protocols between the different classes of lasers we have at our practice. I had high expectations of this course and it exceeded every one of them. Thank you, Dr. Laurie, for bringing this beautifully organized body of knowledge to our profession. You are a gem!â "
